Well, it’s official…we are home owners! After a long, difficult, and trying journey to own our new home we finally closed!

We had a going away party Saturday morning on our roof with a bunch of friends and had a really amazing time getting to see everyone. No words can express what all of you mean to Jay and I…we are going to miss you all so much. Part of our hearts will always be in Brooklyn. I can’t believe it is all coming to a close, I really can’t. But this next chapter is going to be incredibly exciting. There will be a lot of changes, and I’m sure some tough days, but I think we are ready for this big move. Thank you all for your love and friendships…now everyone come visit!

Party Time / Day Off

This weekend was a blast, and fortunately for me, it is still going on as I have the day off (sorry if you’re ready this at work Jay)!

Friday night I had dinner with Lauren at Ed’s, and stuffed my face with unbelievable food…

Saturday we hung around and enjoyed the (slightly) warmer weather before going to Adie’s birthday party!

Now it’s time to watch the President and go to Trader Joes…exciting day off eh? Hope everyone else had a wonderful weekend too!

Dinner / Movie / Mess

Last night Jay and I decided to go to see Silver Linings Playbook (so good!) at Nitehawk! We love this movie theater! They have amazingly delicious food (clearly the most important part), a full bar (eh maybe this is most important), and its really intimate (not a huge megaplex). Check out their menu here!

Anyways, we had a great meal (I had shrimp and fried grits oh.my.god.), we loved the movie, and it was a fun night out. Then we got home…

Where this monster had thrown up all over our comforter! YAY! It’s my own fault he overate and looks like he snacked on a toy too…poor little guy. So after a scramble to clean our mattress cover, get new sheets on, and find blankets to sleep with, we were off to bed. Always something right?

Lately we have been on an endless journey of lunches, dinners, drinks, and holiday parties…not that I’m complaining, but we have been busy and completely stuffed for the past two weeks! Nothing like the holidays in NYC to fill you up…

Now just a couple more days until Christmas and a whole lot more eating to do in the mean time! Can’t wait to do little family Christmas tomorrow with these two bubs…

3 Years

Last night Jay and I went to dinner for our 3 year anniversary at Marlow & Sons. Everything was so delicious and it was really nice to go out to dinner alone (we’re so busy it doesn’t happen too much!). I took some pictures but they all turned out dark…bear with me here…

It was a really nice night, followed by the 12.12.12 concert, a double overtime Celtics win, and this little guy doing this all on his own after a walk in the cold…

Bubbly in the bathroom?

Last night Erin and I had a really fun dinner with clients at Beauty & Essex. The food was delicious (we tried bone marrow!), the drinks were festive, and best part is they have champagne in the bathroom! A little weird but really cool! Here are some pics from last night…

Shake Shack!

Yesterday was a junk day! At lunch I went to FAO’s Candy store and filled a bag with jaw breakers and rock candy, then for dinner Rondo and I had Shake Shack with Lauren. Delicious day, but not a healthy one! We met Lauren in Madison Square Park for some burgers, fries, and a doggy peanut butter sundae for Rondo. He was really into it…

Before dinner Rondo ran around in the dog park there (a nice one!) and then we had a great time eating, catching up with Lauren, and enjoying the last bit of summer. Here are some pictures from yesterday…
