Yesterday was bizarre, it was 65 degrees! I decided to eat at my desk and take Rondo to the park for my lunch break since it was so beautiful outside, and before I know it there will be snow.
Not the same as wandering around midtown at lunch, but I’ll take it!

For anyone who follows me on Instagram this is a repeat, but I thought I would share what it is really like to wake up with Rondo, since pictures and stories do not to his weirdness justice. This is a typical morning, Ron is under the covers, and then when he decides he is ready he will emerge and being his lick attack. Such a maniac…
Yea, ok, I’m obsessed with Rondo…If I’m in a room Rondo is there, if I leave the house he is upset, he sits outside the shower and waits for me to finish, he sleeps curled up in my legs at night, and we spend everyday all day snuggling together. Anyways, I just want to share a few of my favorites from lately…he cracks me up…

Jay was away a couple weeks ago and I wanted to send him a picture of me kissing Rondo’s head…this is the result…
He was cold the other day in the car so I moved a towel up front for him. I looked over and this is what he had done…and yea, he is asleep.
This one is the norm: ears flipped back, paying attention to your food…
The den/my office downstairs gets so cold. We decided to share my sweater. Again, most pictures he ends up licking…
And for good measure, I was at my parents house last week while working out of NYC and I got to see Cali the weirdo. She is eating my hair tie here…

This was a wild weekend!
Friday night was my best Bug baby’s birthday! We even got a surprise burlesque show out of it…who knew that was coming?!
Then after a late late night, we did our engagement pictures with Julie all day! I can’t wait to see them all!! Check out her amazing photography here. She did send me one and without ruining her getting to share her work here is one…
After the long, hot, hot, hot, day of picture taking, we were off to dinner at 1 or 8 and out with friends for another late night.
Sunday, I got up and met Mom for some shopping in between Brooklyn and Flemington…little did I know we would end up finding my wedding dress!!!!!! I wish I could share pictures of it…it’s beyond perfect and I’m obsessed. Mom (Dad too) thank you so much…so much. I wish I could wear it everyday!

Yea, that isn’t true…I have not been happy this week. Work has been a bit of a nightmare…ok a lot of a nightmare. I try not to whine on here, but man, how is it not Friday yet? And poor Jay has been having a rough one too. We are both ready for a relaxing weekend together…big time.
Anyways, on weeks like this, where all I want to do is close my eyes and have it all stop, I try to remember everything around me that does make me happy…

Saturday was Jay’s birthday! We had a great time getting together with friends at Crown Vic, and celebrating not only his birthday but our engagement! I had so much fun I forgot to take many pictures…oops.
And the second birthday boy is Rondo! I can’t believe our little Rondo monster is 1! Love these boys so much ❤
